I grew up with ducks….
I grew up across the street from a pond so I grew up with ducks – lots of ducks. They had nests under my window. They stayed through the winter. They pooped all over the grass and roughed up the ice for ice skating, but I still loved them. I also love water so this series of digital paintings are fun for me. I have to decide which ones I may do in mixed media on canvas.

Trout Hatchery, Benton PA.
Really enjoying playing with water and reflections in this digital painting of three ducks and some golden trout at the trout hatchery in Benton PA. Have lots of source material from here for sure. If I do this on canvas I think I may have to use some envirotech or other resins on the water portion.
